Even the strongest person can go into a depressive state when you're facing these kinds of situations. And especially when you're on the younger end because you just don't believe it's going to happen.
And I went in for a CAT scan, that's when they discovered I had blockage. Which I had no symptoms at all of blockage. I could walk, run, do anything. But they found 80 percent blockage when they did the CAT scan.
I'm laying there watching a monitor and looking at my heart. And I could actually see the probe as it was going towards my heart.
If you have other things going on in your life, like I had the fibromyalgia, I had been told so many times through the years where I thought something was wrong, "oh it's just the fibromyalgia." So I got lulled into thinking, you know, I don't want to bother the doctors. This is just a waste of time. I'm just not going to go. And that's where I was. And once again, if it had not been for that support system I probably would not have gone, and if I had not have gone, as they told me clearly, you would have had a massive heart attack.
And I don't even like saying open-heart, but if I did not change my lifestyle, that was a strong possibility.
